Gird up your Soul

 "Gird up your Soul"

Though shadows rise, the light is drawing near,
A brilliance held behind the darkened veil.
I walk beside you, though your senses fail
My voice is soft, but let your spirit hear.

The earth may tremble, weary from its fight,
Yet angels stand with trumpets in their hands.
The sky holds breath while heaven's justice stands,
And every soul still faithful shines with light.

So lift your eyes, the kingdom waits for you,
The gates are wide for those who rise and trust.
Though not all clean, the willing and the just
Shall find their robes made white, their hearts made new.

The enemy may gather—let him come—
But heaven's song will drown his beating drum.

Whose Praise Shall We Seek

 "Whose Praise Shall We Seek?"

Do thoughts within your heart appeal to pride?
The praises men bestow weigh down your soul.
You cannot serve with mind and heart made whole,
If fear of scorn still whispers deep inside.

We cannot walk as worldly people do,
Nor let our tongues repeat the things they say.
Our choices mark a higher, holier way—
For Christ has fit our feet to follow true.

So raise no cup, but raise your voice instead,
And share the Gospel, bold in word and deed.
The Light shines forth for all who seek and heed,
Embrace the hope where faithful feet are led.

His word proclaimed—He walks with those who sow,
And sheaves will rise where faithful servants go.

Mercy's Wing

 "Mercy's Wing"

Do you not hear the hen’s soft, urgent call,
With lifted wings to shield her chicks from fear?
The Great I Am still beckons, drawing near,
To gather all who heed, both great and small.

Be pure in thought, in deed remain upright,
Elect and firm, your heart prepared to stand,
For soon His truth will spread throughout the land,
And every knee shall bow before His might.

With mercy’s cup overflows to the brim.
Repent, for still His voice declares the way,
For judgment nears to those who disobey,
His grace remains for all who turn to Him.

So choose this day to follow and believe,
Lest time runs out, and sorrow’s all you grieve.

"Gathered Safely Under His Wing"

Do you hear the call, like a hen?
With raised wings calls for protection.
The Great I Am calls for you too.
Hearken to his voice and this do.

Pure and chaste in thought and your act.
Elect and ready, not to be cracked.
For the time is near he'll reveal.
Then everyone will know and kneel.

God repeats that we should repent,
Now that his cup is over spent.
His judgment comes to all who don't.
So make sure your not one that won't.
