"The Mantle and the Burden"
The mantle falls not where ambition pleads,
But on the shoulders bowed by silent care.
It cloaks the meek with Heaven's weight to bear,
A call that lifts while answering others' needs.
But on the shoulders bowed by silent care.
It cloaks the meek with Heaven's weight to bear,
A call that lifts while answering others' needs.
Not crowned in gold, but tried in patient flame,
The faithful serve where no applause is heard.
They build the fold with consecrated word,
Their duty sealed, their hearts without acclaim.
For God entrusts not ease, but trials that prove,
A sacred trust that presses soul to ground.
Yet from that depth arises strength profound,
A servant shaped by covenantal love.
The burden and the mantle are the same:
A heavy grace, a fire in His name.
"Unlock Mercy"
A chain once forged by choices, bold, unwise,
God's mercy waits with key in outstretched hand.
To open hearts and help us understand,
The soul returns when sin no longer ties.
God's mercy waits with key in outstretched hand.
To open hearts and help us understand,
The soul returns when sin no longer ties.
Forgiveness binds what anger would destroy,
A fractured heart will weaken all we are.
To move in mercy is to reach afar,
And hold together heaven’s truest joy.
For Zion must be chosen, not assumed,
A harmony that mirrors heaven’s way.
To isolate is like to disobey,
Our bonds in love by mercy are perfumed.
Forgive as God forgives—with forward grace,
That we, united, might reflect His face.
