Zion will let your Lantern Shine

 "Let Your Lantern Shine"

The Lord expects our lanterns not be veiled,
Nor trumpets muffled by the cloth of fear;
Stand firm with hope, the shuttered door draws near
A messenger whose joy has not yet failed.

Dark waves below may whisper with deceit,
Their tongues like serpents twist beneath the stream.
Perceive in silence; not all truths must scream
Let wisdom shield the path beneath your feet.

These words are carved in stone not shaped by time,
Passed soul to soul, a flame that will not die.
The scrolls of heaven open, line by line,
Recording steps of those who still walk high.

Though danger looms, your calling is divine:
Go sound the voice, and let your lantern shine.

"When Zion Rises to the Coming Fire"

Are your eyes hungry for the storm’s bright light,
While blind to warmth that faithful daybreak gives?
You reach for winds where only shadow lives,
Rejecting truth though wonders stir your sight.

Soon will the stars fall shattered from their place,
The furnace burn with justice, swift and wide.
The trumpets wait to shake the earth and sky,
To summon souls and cleanse the land with grace.

Yet Zion rises, built by sacred will,
Its stones set firm with covenant and love.
Each altar shines with gifts from lands above,
A city time and tempests cannot kill.

So consecrate your soul, prepare your frame,
The Lord draws near in glory, fire, and flame.
