Unshaken and Strength in His Word

 Unshaken

The time will come to drink the vine once more,
Yet not of wine, but what the Lord has blessed,
With heads bowed low, we take the meal confessed,
And wait upon His grace to heal, restore.

Foretold of old, the fullness now is near,
Each prophet spoke, and now their words unfold,
Their wisdom echoes clear as once foretold
A guiding voice to those who choose to hear.

Let not your heart be swayed by doubt or sin,
The path is straight, no need to turn away.
So heed the call, walk firm upon His way,
And by His love, the vict'ry we shall win.

With eyes upon His light, don't bend nor stray.
For in His truth, our souls shall find their stay.

Strength in His Word

With truth secured, my waist is girded tight,
A belt that guards and shields from dark disguise,
While virtue’s plate o’er heart in armor lies,
To stand against the foe’s relentless fight.

My feet are shod to tread where faith may lead,
Upon the path that heaven’s light has shown,
And in my grasp, a shield, my strength alone,
To quench the fiery darts of dark misdeed.

A helm of truth upon my brow is set,
The Spirit’s word shall guide my steps each day,
To guard my thoughts, to shield the words I say,
And in my hand, the sword lest I forget.

No fear remains where faith and power stay,
For in His might, I’ll never fall away.

Poem 1 - Eye Single to His Glory

Time will come to drink of the vine.

God approved something else than wine.

Each week head bowed at the table.

Wait for the Lord to enable.

A time spoken of old is here

Fullness of times spoke by each seer.

Listen to the Prophet today

Follow his guidance, do not stray.

Poem 2 - Righteous Defense

The belt of truth around my waist,

Protect my loins by being chaste.

Breastplate of virtue for my heart,

Shielded from being torn apart.

Pair of boots worn to protect feet

along this path, a life long street.

Shield of Faith to cover all me.

Souls defense is coming to be.

A helmet to protect my head,

Are my thoughts or what I have said.

Weapon is Sword of the Spirit.

Word of God we need to hear it.

Echoes of Humble Devotion

Echoes of Humble Devotion

Through trials fierce, the faithful Saints pressed on,
Though mocked and scorned, they heeded still the call,
For God had whispered, "Rise, fear not the fall,"
His light would break before the night was gone.

The word of God became their guiding flame,
Through sacred lines, His voice would still impart,
A strength to calm the fear within the heart,
Through priesthood hands, the weak were healed the same.

When voices raised in praise unite as one,
The soul takes flight on hymns of sacred sound,
A gift from heav’n where melodies abound,
Through women’s hands, the Lord’s great work is done.

So walk in faith, let courage light your way,
For God sustains the humble hearts that pray.

Instructions of Life & What is a Prophet

 Instructions of Life

Enticed by fleeting pleasures, I am twirled,
My foolish errors rise, uncurled at last.
The sins of youth once shadowed in the past,
Exposed before the judgment of the world.

Yet man is not by nature stained or hurled
To endless woe—though far from truth held fast,
We wander, fall, and find ourselves outcast,
And in our weakness, let our pride be swirled.

The Savior mends what mortal hands could not,
He cleared the path where none could stand alone.
A broken heart must humbly seek His throne,
Contrite in spirit, trusting in our lot.

So heed His call, surrender self to grace,
And through His love, your steps will find their place.

What is a Prophet?

Though blind, we step into the Lord’s pure light,
And through His prophet, truth is cast anew.
The words of old reveal a clearer view,
Restored in wisdom, shining ever bright.

A seer expounds the plan, our path is right,
Declaring Christ to all, both firm and true.
His witness stands, a voice that will renew,
Proclaiming worth beyond the mortal sight.

For man alone would falter, stray, and fall,
Yet God extends His hand through one ordained.
By sacred charge, His servant has remained,
A guide for those who heed the Master's call.

So trust the voice that speaks His will today,
And walk the path that will not fade away.

Poem - Instructions of Life

Hooked in vanities of the world

My foolish errors come unfurled.

Showing off my weakness of youth,

Guilty of levity in truth.

We by nature are not evil.

Disobey God's law is lethal.

Fallen away from all that's good.

We can't resolve it, never could.

The Savior resolved it for us.

A return path, a major plus.

With a broken heart your paying,

And contrite spirit your staying.

Poem - What is a Prophet?

Walk into Lord's light with blind eye.

The prophet's voice will clarify.

Reveal original intent,

Of writers that have now long spent.

A prophet, this teacher shows man,

The truth expounded in His plan.

A special witness of the Christ.

Shows us our worth as highly priced.

Speak Truth Meekness Christ Bitter Cup

"Speak Truth in Meekness"

Proclaim the word as nourishing a meal,
With voices clothed in tones both soft and mild,
Reviling not, nor speaking words defiled,
But sharing truth with love that lifts and heals.

The Lord commands that strife be cast aside,
Contention’s fire is sparked by dark design,
The hands of peace are blessed by love divine,
Yet bitter words will never turn the tide.

With humble hearts, in patience we must stand,
For truth is not a sword but healing balm,
The voice of Christ is merciful and calm,
He calls us forth to teach with guiding hand.

Let meekness shine where anger seeks control,
For love, not strife, will cleanse and lift the soul.

"Christ, Our Redeemer and Judge"

Upon the throne of light He reigns above,
With power granted from the Father's hand.
The source of mercy, justice He commands,
His judgment balanced, tempered well with love.

He walked in grace, in law He stood approved,
Obedient Son, no fault in Him was found.
Through perfect faith, His righteousness was crowned,
In every act, the will of God He proved.

Not mere deposit marks a soul refined,
Nor hollow rites can change the heart within.
His gospel molds the soul, renews the mind,
Transforms the lost, redeems the scarred from sin.

So let us seek to be, not just to do,
For Christ looks deep—our hearts must be made true.

"The Bitter Cup of Gethsemane"

Alone He knelt beneath the olive shade,
The night grew thick, the weight of sin pressed deep.
With trembling hands, the cup He longed to flee,
Yet still He drank—His love would not evade.

No mortal heart could bear such agony,
Nor body stand beneath the crushing load.
Yet He endured, as crimson sorrow flowed,
Each drop outpoured in love’s pure mystery.

He could have turned, abandoned all in fear,
But mercy bound Him to the task divine.
His suffering seals the hope of yours and mine.
Through silent cries, redemption now draws near.

O bitter cup, through Thee our souls are free,
For Christ has borne the weight eternally.

His Hands, Our Hearts

His Hands, Our Hearts

Upon the rock, where truth and light reside,
His gospel stands, a beacon shining bright,
A firm foundation, guiding us aright,
Though trials rise and shadows dim the light.

See not the soul in weakness bound today,
But what they may become through love divine,
A child of God whose purpose yet will shine,
As grace refines and leads them on their way.

With hands outstretched in mercy we arise,
To serve, to heal, to be the Lord’s embrace,
Reflecting Christ in heart, in word, in face,
That all may feel His love through our own eyes.

Commit, transform, and guide with steadfast might,
That all may walk from darkness into light.
