"The Question of Faith"
The young boy Joseph, stuck in life’s deep trench,
Upon the mourners' bench, in sorrow dwelt,
He pondered long on how his soul had felt,
His sins, a weight that caused his soul to clench. He sought to know if he was good or not,
Which church to join, with many in the fray,
These thoughts consumed his heart, and thus he prayed,
The darkness came, but still he faltered not.
A swollen tongue, he could not voice his plea,
Until a light burst forth in radiant glow,
A voice that called his name and bade him know,
"Behold, my Son! Listen to Him," said He.
"Do you have further questions you must ask?"
"Yes, which church fulfills the sacred task?"
"The Answer Divine"
"No church as yet has met the holy mark,
Though some draw near, none stand without defect,
In time, the truth will come and all reflect,
Till then, stand firm and patient in the dark."
A heavenly glow filled Joseph’s heart anew,
The vision clear, as heaven's messengers left,
He stood, with faith, no longer lost or bereft,
He knew the Lord had answered, pure and true.
He shared his tale with those who'd hear his voice,
Yet met with scorn, with doubt, and disbelief,
Some mocked in jest, while others shared his grief,
But steadfast stood, his heart made the right choice.
"I knew my prayer was answered from on high,
God spoke to me, and truth could not deny."

The young boy Joseph felt stuck in a trench,
Sitting upon the mourners bench.
Wanting to know his eternal state,
For his sins caused him to shake.
To know His will if he's good or not,
Which Church to join cause there's alot.
With these thoughts he took and prayed
Appeared the dark force but Joseph stayed.
With swollen tongue unable to talk.
A bright light appeared nock, nock.
Called my name and signaled his Son.
Listen to him cause he gets things done.
Do you have any further questions to ask?
Yes I can't decide which Church fills the task.
None at this time had any prospect,
Some came close but never a good suspect.
Wait patiently for more is to come.
Soon all truth will fill the earth and start to hum.
Now filled to the brim with a heavenly glow.
The vision closed as they left to go.
I knew that God came and answered my prayer.
I couldn't deny it for that was a huge affair.
I told many with varied reactions
Responses that caused actions.
